Buffalo Blue Cheese Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Last week as I was preparing this Buffalo Chicken Meatloaf for dinner, I thought, what goes better with meatloaf than mashed potatoes?

Then I thought, I must make a Buffalo Cheesy Mashed Potato Recipe to go with the meatloaf, and here we are! Blue cheese dressing adds a nice creaminess to the potatoes, while the buffalo sauce gives them a nice little kick.

An easy and delicious side dish that you just can’t beat!

Buffalo Blue Cheese Mashed Potato Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs russet potatoes (peeled & cubed)
  • ½ cup butter (cubed)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup blue cheese dressing
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup blue cheese crumbles

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Add the potatoes to a large pot of boiling water.

Buffalo Blue Cheese Mashed Potato Recipe

Boil until fork tender, 15-20 minutes. Drain and place back on the stove over low heat.

Add the butter, milk, blue cheese dressing and buffalo sauce.  Use an electric hand mixer to mash the potatoes.

Place the potatoes in an oven safe dish and sprinkle with the blue cheese crumbles. Place in the oven for 10 minutes.
